WebIt takes 1 chainshot to take out a mast to my knowledge. A sloop only has 1 mast and 1 cannon. Going up against a brigantine with 2 masts for us to take down with our 1 cannon is an up hill battle compared to them having 1 mast to take down with there 2 cannons. I know that attacking a brigantine or a galleon as a sloop was already meant to be ... WebChain shot is not. The latter requires that you take the time to raise up the mast rather than just lowering the sails. Furthermore, the chainshot hit also breaks the wheel and the capstan, not just the mast. I don't understand how adding 2 cannon balls chained together is gonna add any longevity to the game.
